Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Beloved artisan shop Olives & Grace is moving on up next month, relocating from its petite Pembroke Street storefront to the former Motley space at 623 Tremont Street (also in the South End). The Racked 38 member is known not only for its small batch foodstuffs, personal care products, accessories, and paper goods—owner Sofi Mercedes Madison is also a trusty partner for local businesses like Union Square Donuts and Petal Floral Design. In addition, you'll often find her serving as neighborhood cheerleader for fellow South End boutiques. As noted in an Instagram post announcing the move, Olives & Grace will be in the new space on May 1.
