British crooner Rita Ora had some explaining to do when she reportedly breached her contract with Italian shoe company Superga—for which she was an ambassador—when she was photographed in a pair of sneakers from Massachusetts-based Converse last April. Subsequently, Superga apparently withheld an installment of her $250,000 payment, leading the singer to sue the brand. The case was settled out of court and Ora has since been replaced by model Suki Waterhouse.
