While Hermès is recognized the world over for its "H" logo, signature orange, and those iconic Birkin bags, the company has decided to give the US market a little extra love recently. An event in New York on Tuesday night brought a circus to the city highlighting its women's collections, with several generations of the owning Dumas family present. In an article recounting the luxury brand's growth year-to-date, WWD reports that the top five US markets for Hermès are Beverly Hills, Hawaii, San Francisco, Miami, and Boston—surprisingly, New York doesn't make the list, though it will soon be home to the company's first freestanding perfumery. Here in Boston, Hermès will expand its Back Bay boutique from one floor to two, set to open June 2015.
