Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After a seven year run, North End boutique Acquire has shuttered its store location to focus wholly on transitioning to a full-service interior design firm. Earlier this month, Boston magazine made note of the closure, citing an email newsletter update from the shop. The Salem Street spot welcomed its last round of customers over Memorial Day weekend. Au revoir—that is, until the day we seek owner Nikki Dalrymple's services to upgrade our apartments.
