Madewell is on our short-list when it comes to shopping denim, casual dresses, and soft knits—you know, the kind of weekend wears that some are lucky enough to even sport at work. This summer, the brand is opening two new locations at open-air shopping developments in Boston suburbs: Dedham's Legacy Place and Hingham's Derby Street Shoppes. Boston Common reminds that the popular brand actually has roots in Massachusetts, founded more than 75 years ago as a workwear label in New Bedford. Stay tuned for details on opening dates.
