Unfortunate news, folks. Uniqlo fans will have to exercise just a bit more patience when it comes to the Japanese retailer's Bay State debut. Last week, at a press conference announcing the brand's sponsorship of the Red Sox Foundation, Uniqlo CEO Larry Meyer noted that its Faneuil Hall pop-up shop would open by the end of June—however, today we received word that construction difficulties have delayed the opening until July 22. The pop-up will give Boston a taste of the anti-fast fashion chain and its "LifeWear" prior to the launch of six Massachusetts retail locations over the next year. The collection is characterized by colorful basics for men, women, and children.
