Tonight, TEDxCambridge will welcome its youngest speaker to date, a bubbly nine-year-old blogger (day job: Newton fourth-grader) named Tobias Otting. Neckwear, Joseph Abboud, and pompadour-loving Toby works on his blog Junior Sartorialist after school in between a plethora of cultural extracurricular activities: fashion design, dance, and high tea among them.
Profiled in the Boston Globe yesterday, the petite personality discusses how he has found his voice through fashion (accordingly, the topic he will speak on is "the importance of finding your voice and sharing it"), noting that he has already designed five dresses—one full sized and four doll sized—and has ambitions of attending a fashion design college. Do we see someone giving Tavi Gevinson a run for her money?
