Fans of minimalism rejoice! Helmut Lang is opening its first New England outpost just in time for your fall shopping needs. The airy 1800-square-foot installation, heavily influenced by the late artist Donald Judd, brings Lang's architectural Fall 2014 collection to The Street in Chestnut Hill.
Impeccable attention to detail has won the label a legion of die-hard fans, and this space lives up to this reputation with its contemporary design and Mies van der Rohe pavilion benches scattered throughout. Helmut Lang is just the latest edition to Chestnut Hill's increasingly chic shopping destination, joining other fashion heavyweights like Intermix, Splendid and Vince.—:Kara Weymouth
