A former life as a finance recruiter convinced Ramon Garcia that there was a better way: "Long hours at work really took my mind off of fitness and took my physique down south," says the former professional basketball player. One career right-turn later, and Ramon now private-trains fellow fitness fanatics under his Elevate brand.

When he's not killing clients with high-intensity depletion workouts, Ramon's indulging one of his many active hobbies, from kayaking to rock climbing to soccer. He even loves doing yard work: "It is an awesome workout, and you get chores done!" The bilingual Bostonian is also a fitness competitor, which he says keeps him accountable to both himself and his clients. Also? The man knows how to braid hair. "Weird, right?" says the Haverhill native. "I guess I'll be ready for a daughter one day!" Cue swooning.
