Hamersley's Bistro to Close; Boozy Bubble Tea; More!

HUB-WIDE — Lots of upcoming closings, unfortunately. Hamersley's Bistro in the South End will close at the end of October, and Veggie Planet and Dolphin Seafood both close after service this Sunday, August 17. East Cambridge restaurant Lizzy's also closed recently. (Lone Star Taco Bar will take over its space.) And M3 in Davis Square has been seized by the state.

HUB-WIDE — But on the plus side, Zoe's Gourmet Chinese Cuisine has finally opened many months after the facade of the building collapsed, and a new Allston spot, Limoo Tea Bar, has opened as well. Boozy bubble tea!

SOUTH END — The new culinary program at Wink & Nod is falling into place. Bread and Salt Hospitality's Josh Lewin discusses what diners can expect from it when his team takes over the kitchen at the start of September. Also, Kate Holowchik (jm Curley, Les Zygomates) has signed on to do breads, desserts, and more.

SOUTH END — The Gallows is opening a doughnut shop, Blackbird Doughnuts, in the South End late this fall.
