HUB-WIDE — More details on Top Chef, finally. The upcoming season, which was shot in Boston, premieres on Bravo on October 15, and one local chef is competing: Stacy Cogswell of The Regal Beagle in Coolidge Corner.

HARVARD SQUARE — The Science + Cooking lecture series starts up again on September 8, featuring a number of world-renowned chefs speaking about science...and cooking. Here's the awesome line-up. Lectures are free and open to the public, and attendees tend to start lining up a couple hours early.
