Your whole life's about to change: at 10am, Boston's first two Uniqlo stores will open.
Here's how the big day will go down. At 9:45am, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the Natick Mall location, complete with traditional Japanese Taiko drummers and an appearance by Red Sox mascot Wally. Then, promptly at 10am, the doors will open to both the Natick and The Mall at Chestnut Hill outposts -- but get there early, because long lines are pretty much assured.
When you're not frantically grabbing every well-priced item within your eyeline and mentally cheering the Japanese retailer's Bay State debut, you can expect giveaways throughout the weekend, including 200 limited edition Uniqlo tote bags each day of the opening weekend. Empty your closets accordingly.
