HUB-WIDE — The Eater Boston Heatmap has been updated for August. Plan your next 12 meals around these hotspots, from Bastille Kitchen to Liquid Art House.

HUB-WIDE — Like it or not, we're getting into the later part of summer, and it's time to make sure you're hitting all of your hot-weather goals, like dining on all of these amazing patios around town.

SOUTH END — Charlie's Sandwich Shoppe, an 87-year-old breakfast-and-lunch landmark, closed earlier this year when the owners decided to retire. Now, it's slated to be resurrected (with the menu intact) by Evan Deluty of Stella.

UNION SQUARE — Somerville's short-lived Radio could be replaced by a new music venue called Thunder Road.
